Orange Sky

I dreamed of a house with one floor. The ground floor had all rooms, lots and lots. The first floor was a park, it had a a big blue lake, a gushing loud waterfall, stone grey pillars with a beautiful pink clematis trailing over them, and lush green grass, hills, flowers and trees with fruit. The I dreamed that i was in a big big house, now when i say big i mean very WIDE. It had just 0ne ceiling/roof was a big glass square dome. The sky was a deep orange as the sun was setting.
All my grandparents where there, and busy doing things they normally did. My grandfather Les was moving stuff in the garden, planting, digging etc.
It was beautiful.
Reuven and Yoey was there but older, my brother was a tall lanky lad with a beard! and was busy carrying wood and stuff around to help. My sister Yoey was helping my mum to pick mango's and put them in baskets.

strange dream

I dreamed that i was sleeping and dreaming, of me sleeping and dreaming.
Then in the dream of me sleeping and dreaming, I woke up in this dream to find a spider crawling up my leg.
Then I woke up in the dream of me sleeping, and I looked for the spider, and found it under the sheet on the side of the matress, it was posionous so I squished it.
then I woke up from my dream, as I felt someone poking my shoulder. But no one was there.

summer is here!

the birthday month

this is star aniseed. it has a slight licorice taste and is used in chinese dishes, it is also a key ingredeint for the bird flu vacine (if anyone is interested lol)

2 months is nothing to a person. but to a 8 week old baby, a day is like a month.
so hamza has learned his vowels, he spends alot of time practising them.
this week he has had his first injections, and sneezed in his Papa's face.

in the hospital, i discoverd the best sandwich, in the world.
It was on naan bread. with a onioun pakora filling. it was heaven. i really miss it :(

Just to let you know the baby arrived safe and well, on the 25th of feb, at 12.43am.
2 weeks early of his due date, he weighed 5.4 pounds, and the labour was just 4 hours in hospital!
been in hospital a week as baby had low blood sugar but he home now.

2 weeks to go....URGH!

seems that waiting is taking forever. I might not last till the due date, I will yank him out before then. He must be having fun, thinking he in a nice snug bath, meanwhile my body so twisted up in backache and huge feet like a marshmellow man. no wonder my mum was yellin at us kids when we was bad, its all pent up frustrations from pregnancy.

and i cant beilive how people Lie to u when u pregnant, i was told that no one gets pregnant in march so the hospital we be nice and empty.. everyone is pregnant! and more fatter than me! and sporting their bump around like they on cat walks.

I'm not sure if what Im feeling is mood swings, but I'm sure I won't get mood swings.

Leigh came round today, with the most beutifual baby clothes ever! she is a lifesaver (not the sweets), as after we unpacked I relised we had nothing after 3 months, and not enough baby vests. anyway, she brought big bags of clothes, one baby suit has cow spots! and a over the bath, baby bath. which is what I think one of the most essental things you can have. I can't wait to dress him in these clothes!

we have moved!

finaly we have our own place, and more importantly our own tiolet. (for me)
and lots and lots of storage, which is so cool. I will post a picture as soon as i get my computer on the net.

gargling compitions

the worst thing i have experinced in the 8 months is toothache.
And not being able to take anything.

When i told the doctor he said i should try to ''hold on'' until after the birth. this is why there should be no male doctors, they are all clods.

so lastnight i slept with a hot water bottle on my face. I had a nice imprint on my face, when i woke up.

oh yes and i have been gargling hot salt water twice a day, all week. i think i getting quite good at it, i wish my bro was here as we could have a race.

1 month to go!

so it happened..it was a normal day..
i was standing cooking, when i looked down and my feet! where are they? all i can see is this HUGE bulging tummy!
now when i first got pregnant, my main worry was it would snow and people might think i was a snowman. but this is worse, much worse. espicaily if i been lying down and i lose the feeling in my legs, its like How do i still know they are there?
I feel like a pigeon, pigeons cant see their legs when they are walking, or like a child with a box on their head. plus i keep bumping into things, im not sure why, i don't mean to but it seems door handles are a main target, they just seem to be hiting my bump all the time. I cant wait to ask the sprog what he thought.

I guess my brother, is not always a PAIN.

I spoke to my brother, yesterday..I think. He asked me:

"are you scared about the birth?"
I said "No.."
"why?, all the films I seen..has the womons screaming and yelling"
(at this point I wonder what films is He watching?)
I said, "I not scared Reuven, cus I know g-d will look after me. "
He just went quiet.. and then said "don't worry, I will pray for you."

Baby Blues..

I am quite Disappointed in the baby range in uk, its all blue for a baby boy, the only other colors are white or baby pink for a girl.

How Boring!

I have searched and scoured all the shops, searching for something Orange, or a nice bright Green. Anything Bright and chearfull, I don't want my baby to be boring.

So to anyone who is going to buy the baby a gift, please do not get baby blue!

Intelligent Plants

Most plants have brains. Otherwise how can they be wise?

Impress your husband chicken curry recipe.

1 Chicken in small pieces.
2-3 Onions.
1-2 Big Tomatoes (if you only have one use some tomato paste, or a tin of tomatoes).
1 Piece of Ginger or 2 teaspoons of ginger paste.
3 Cloves of Garlic or 3 teaspoons of garlic paste.
1 Tablespoon of Yogurt (optional).
1 Black Cardamon ( if you don't have use 3-4 green cardamons).
1-2 Cinnamon Sticks.
7 Cloves.
2 Bay Leaves.
1 Teaspoon of Salt.
1 Teaspoon of Pepper.
1 Teaspoon of Chili Powder.
1/2 Teaspoon of Turmeric.
1 and 1/2 Teaspoon of Coriander Powder.
1 Teaspoon of Cumin Powder.


Right,
-> First get your chicken and stick it in hot water if frozen. If not then just put it in cold water.
->Then chop your onions, and put them in the pan with some oil, fry till light brown.
->while your oniouns are frying, blend or chop up your garlic and ginger. Then put them in a small bowl and add your spices. (Corriander powder, Cumin powder, Chilli powder, Cloves, Pepper, Turmaric, Cinnimon sticks, and Bay leaves) Stir and set aside.
-> Then chop or blend your tomatos, and Add your Salt.
-> When onions are ready (the oil will seperate (2 colors)), add your garlic/ginger/spice mix and stir, adding water if it sticks.
-> Cook for 5 min, keep checking that its not sticking, by stiring it.
-> Rinse chicken a few times, then add to the pan and stir to the sauce you have made is on the chicken, you may need to add some water, just so some of the chicken is covered, but dont add to much as chicken will release juices.
-> after the chicken goes white (it will be pink still inside), add the tomatos and stir. Add a cup of water, so the curry covers the chicken, and leave it bubbling for 25 min.
-> Keep checking on it in this time, and stir it now and then so all the chicken gets cooked.
-> Now eat it, with pitta bread or rice.

Rules : Teaspoon is the smallest spoon. Tablespoon is the biggest spoon. If you don't have a Tablespoon use 2 Spoons.

Sub note: if you forget to add anything, don't worry! just throw it in at last minute or leave it out. This recipe is pretty flexible with quantity.

A Sensitive Nose

I have a sensitive nose. It never used to be sensitive, but it is now.

At night, if the window is closed, then my nose gets so blocked I can't sleep at all. But as soon as you open the window, 5 secs and my nose is clear. Its like I can control my nose, with a switch.
The downside is that the room gets very cold, and Omer is snuggled under the blanket with just a tuft of black hair sticking out. Meanwhile I'm spread out like a starfish with my feet and hands sticking out of the blanket. Every now and then Omer checks my feet and thinks I'm dead (they are that cold) and covers them up, and a few mins later I stick them out again.

With this going on and my trips to to pee in the night, its amazing that we get any sleep.

''Special'' Apple Juice

All children know (and secretly adults know aswell) that Doctors drink pee.

yes..they drink it, and are completly and unrefingly addicted to the stuff. To Doctors fresh pee is like sweet yummy golden apple juice, and it is a well know fact that they just can't get enough of it.

This is why they are always asking for pee samples, and why they want a whole pot of it.
Doctors are clever in getting this juice, as they have made different size bottles, and even some with a presevitve to keep the pee nice and fresh.

As soon as you go in they already have a pot waiting for you on their desk, with your name on it.

On pourpose they make you wait (in a waiting room) a very long time so by the time you go in, you will be ready to pee.

Everyone in the Doctors sugery, is in on it.

It is also known that pregnant people tend to pee more frequently, and as soon as the Doctors hear of a pregnant person is there, they double the waiting time and start rumaging in drawers for as many pots as they can find. They will then give all these pots to you and make a zillion appointments for you, to fool you into thinking they are just giving you good pregnancy care, but no, they just getting ready to stock up for the winter.

Sadly there is no way we can escape them from taking our pee, and childrens, childrens pee. Unless we evolve to not be ill anymore. Which would be great, as I hate to wait in the waiting room.

from good to bad

As we all know there is good food and bad food.

Bad food to me is food gone past its sell by date, not as in bad behaviour.

So you tend to hear me saying ''Has the milk gone bad yet?'' or ''Wasn't the bread supposed to have gone bad yesterday?''

Grown-Ups

It is often assumed that adults are boring.

(When I say adults, I am also including: Married People, Parents, and Men in that work consuming age gap of 25+.)

The reason behind this, is that its true.

Now Adults don't mean to be boring.. it just happens. This is because everything they do is boring, wither at work or at home being a mother, their lives circulate endlessly around this chore, and when they do stop for a breath, they tend to feel the need to Talk About It.

Talking About It, is the boring bit.

If you happen to be a listener, my tip for you, is nodding and smiling. (but don't over do it)
If you are the person who is talking, and you realise you are being boring, try the Open University (they have lots of interesting courses, even if you are not very educated) or you could always try a Religion, just be careful which you sign up too.

coppers and little robbers

children are very clever. more clever than adults.

I'm sure you have heard this saying "We were all children once"
what they really mean to say is that we were all clever once.
one thing they are extremly good at, is getting what they want with very little work involved in their part.
for example, sweets.
sweets mean nothing much to us now, but to children that magic word can freeze mind and body, it can turn you in to a slave or a master depending on how much you have of it.
now, children know that this most wonderous thing can be obtained by 2 ways.

the first is Grandparents, and the second is Money.

Money is wonderful concept for children, the idea of buying whatever you want, whenever you want it. And its a known fact that Grandparents and Parents are just swimming in money, piles and piles of it, where they get it children do not know, they don't really care, aslong as they can get it.

Now, if you have a child don't panic. If you are wise they can be fooled. First thing, don't teach them about money at a young age, second thing never give them any Notes. (paper money)

The other thing you should know is that to a child. Coppers (1p and 2p) are alot of money. This is gold to them, and why? cus of Penny Sweets.

I remember when I was little I was given some shiny coppers from my mum, which she didn't want. (I asumed she was so rich in Money, thats why she was giving it to me, for free) They were like gold to me, I would count them, clean them and carry them around, not showing them to anyone.

So using this knowledge, I first showed my siblings the Penny Sweets, then I showed them how you can obtain them (with Money) , and finaly showed them that if they some chores for me (like getting me a drink), they would get a handful of coppers..

green green mountains

now thinking about it I had a really nice dream lastnight (not so long ago dreaming). It was about my brother, now I dont usually dream about family members unless it is a nightmare where everyone is being useless.

->So I'm with my brother and we are camping, I'm slightly younger maybe its 2005. we head off with some snacks and mountainering gear and we start climbing a mountain, me showing my brother what to do, guiding him and teaching him as we go. we are chating and laughing as we go and when we get to the top, we just sit eating choc brownies, looking at the view and chatting.

was a really nice dream, and when I woke i relised how much I missed my brother, he is 12 and has reached that wonderful, long waited (by me) age, where you can have a actual conversation.
I think when I was 8, and i asked my mum "please can i have a baby brother" I really just wanted someone to talk and share things with (as well as playing) but I had to wait so long to actully be able to talk to him about something intresting, like Why do men have more hair in more places? etc

Mr Kicky

waking up now everyday at this time. its when Mr Kicky decides hes had enough dreaming and does some flip overs and elbow nudges.
he seems to enjoy bruising my ribs with his head , maybe he has a itch cus its non-stop moving over them.
most people think when you are being kicked its a good feeling...well it used to be, when it was small and not so often. now i dont know which is worse, being reapetedly kicked in the spine, kicked on my bladder or him turning over and i can feel limbs moving inside me not to mention i can see his head (lump under the skin) moving around.

also i find non pregnant teens staring at my tummy, maybe thinking they will see movement. which is rather anoying as it is pervy, plus omer never sees cus by the time his turned his head and said "What?" the baby stops to listen to his voice.

we now refer to the baby as Kitten. sadly cus the word baby sounds a big thing, a scary thing and a expensive thing.

so i now have a new baby cousin! of 8pounds and i think 12hours labour. born on boxing day!

omer sleeping

took this picture on the train back from cardiff, he was sleeping but kept straitening his head, and then it would slowly fall back down again. went on for ages, was so funny.

i find it abuse yes ABUSE if anyone interupts my oprea listening time.
Im not being unresonable, its only a 3min song. and even if you are the postman bearing gifts, you just have to wait, like everyone else.
i'm also finding this automatic spell checker on blogger irattating. there should be an option that if you want it on or off. its like how am i supposed to express myself in my natrual way with this spelling thing going on?

so i guess i not updated in awhile, well im 6 months pregnant now, WARNING to people who at 6 months. its just downhill now. i have forgoton what it is like to sleep. its a new sleep now. its sleeping with hic-ups. and waking up for no reason but to turn over for the Other person inside to get comftable.
im sure there was 3 dinosaurs inside me lastnight not one baby.
my tummy was leaping about like something from aliean, it got to the point when i couldnt read while resting the book on my tummy cus he was jumping about so much.
and theres 3 months to go, i cant take much of this.

chocolate rambling

chocolate bars really depend on size.

for example this is what happened yesterday..

i was in the mood for a good chocolate bar, but all that was avalible was tiny individully wrapped chocolates. now the thing about these chocolates, are they not ment for Hunger eating, they more of Decoration, (plus if u take more than 2, people will think you are greedy).

Wrappers on Decrotive bars, are just a novelty, they usully make them shiny and make a crinkly noise when you take the wrapper off. But on a Hunger bar the wrapper is just a protection from people's teeth. (if they had no wrappers, people would be biting chunks out of them all the time) (and there would be no concept of getting a Whole bar)

so i eat one, and yup im still hungry.. so i try to calculate how many tiny bars to make up a big one, so i will feel not chocolate Hungry no more.

but in the end it makes no difference, cus u just dont feel full, (i think its reverse sicology, chocolate bar makers are very clever) the reason is that when you are eating a normal bar its big, and u See its big, plus u can See yourself eating it. but u cant do this with Decrotive bars, as they too tiny.

nightmares

had a really scary dream last night.

it started with me having contractions and my waters breaking, then we went to the hospital (NHS) and it was low staffed. there were 6 other pregnant wemon there with a partnet, and we was all waiting in a que, with number tickets. well i finally get through and im in bed in agony, and there are like only 2 midwifes avalible so whenever i call them they busy, omer then dissapears to get snacks and im like wot?.. theres no painkillers as the stock not arrive yet, and time passes and im like omg do i live here now?? theres no baby and no assistance and no one cares.. eventully this traine midwife comes and it turns out to be a pervy asain guy who is like 19. im like "well, is the baby coming?" he checks and says that i will be ready in about 7 hours time, and im really pretty.. so omer then socks him and i notice that im bleeding? i like shouting for help but no one is there, and omer is beating up the traine midwife..

im too scared to sleep now :s

second scan!

had second scan today, jean came with us. we waited and waited in the waiting room which is always seemingly forever.
didnt see anything for ages, omer really has the advantage since the tv screen is at his eye level. with me lying flat out i cant see anything at all - infurating!
after ages i get to see the baby, and saw him kicking and breathing, his little heart beating and a yawn, which obvoiusly means he already feeling bored in there.

cardiff it lovely, not as nice as cornwall but much nearer and better than manchester. yes i admit it, im in love with this new city and want to move. i'm thinkin all my friends in manchester should come vist cardiff so they will move here too.

what should one do when run out of ideas? or wanting to do 2 conflicting things?
should i start again or keep going and hope it turns out okey?

everything seems to be about choices, and no one to guide me or advice me. what happened to my special advisor, and did she really have to leave?

lots of people ask for advice, but then they do the oppisete anyway, so whats the point?
might aswell tell them what they dont want to hear, cus thats what their ganna do.
is this life? or just a random slice of it?

can you draw in your sleep?, i think it would be amazing if you could, i think when drawing i tend to concentrate too much. and it doesn't have to be perfect.

so i have noticed this year there are more spiders around. and for some reason theres seems to be competition going on, on our bathroom celing. beacuse there used to be 5 spiders and then there was 3. i found the other 2, on the floor, quite dead. i dont know how they got to be dead. but i dont think they would have liked to die dropping from the celing. and i blame the bigest spider i think she murdered him.
now there is no court of law or justice for spiders. and since im the most often vistor that puts me up a notch, so she better be careful next time.

pee fuel

if pee was made into a car fuel then more pregnant ladies would have jobs.
And more people would get pregnant.
So if they made the law that you had to get married, there would be no problem of sex before marrage.

right, now i know i not posted in ages. but alot has happened (yes thats my excuse)

like the wedding! and my first scan!

first - the wedding, It was fab, seriously the best day of my life. sorry i mean OUR lives. i keep forgeting.. the whole of it, well i never relised how many pictures actully are taken, espicaily of me, which required alot of standing. If i knew i would have been bare foot, as my jeweled heals dug in to me.. killing me.
so by the last few pictures, i was getting kinda crabby.. and you can see it in our wedding video lol.

the scan went fine, we could see this baby shaped grey blob moving and kicking, completly unaware of us. i dont know why i expected it to wave at me and say hi.

I got a slight bump yay! its small but mine :)

hospitals

If you watch tv you will know that the emergancy room is one of the most exciting places to be......WRONG
The thing about people who work in ermergancy room, is that they are not the ones with the emergancy, you are.
so they dont really care.

carrying a growing watermelon.

being pregnant is like carrying a small water melon that sits on your pelvis and on your bladder, and just gets bigger. The pressure of this melon causes a strain like period pain that is constantly there.
In the day its usully not so bad cus you can take your mind off it, but in the night it turns into a big fish and moves around every few seconds. So this therefore causes you no sleep, and lots of tossing and turning.

If you are ok with happening then go on get pregnant!

Hello all people who dont read/do read this blog.

I know i aint very good at updating this blog, and i have to be careful what i say just in case my mom reads it, and asks "whats up, why you feeling like that? awww big hug"
so, even tho im pregnant, hungry, pissed off about peeing all the time, i'm ganna try my hardest not to come on here and moan about my pregnancy.
what i can moan about is the fact i cant put any more pictures on this d*** site cus they askin for MONEY. nothing is free in this world. now if u wanna get a blog, i suggest blogger, but they have crap coustemer service, as in NO service at all.

phew, feels great letting all that out.

my meals today:

so talking about food, today for breakfast i had 3 waffles, 1 peice of apple crumble topped lavishly with thick custard and golden honey oh and 2 choc chip cookies.

one word YUM. consume time - 3 min

then at exactly 12.39 i got up and ate all the carrots we had in our fridge. (4 carrots)

weird questions in my mind:

1. how many cups of uncooked rice, and water, would be needed to fill a bath tub full of cooked rice?

2. why does the water in the tiolet always stay the same level, no matter how much water you put in?

ppl that answer these questions right and understandingly get a surprise prize!!

Things that anoy me today:

1. the fact that SomeOne keeps switching off the lights, so its pitch black and all the bugs come out.
2. everytime i go to the loo the window is open, so its frezzing cold and my butt turns to ice.
(why would someone do this at night?? do they want burgulars to get in??)

cars and money

People that have cars, forget what it is like to use a bus.
first of all, theres no point asking them how long it will take you to get there or here or how much it will cost or if the buses are fequent.


they will say "oh it wont cost u that much, maybe just a pound" - really being £3.

or "it wont take you that long, maybe 5 min" - really being 30 min, if a bus is just there when you get there.

or " oh yes the bus is every few min" - meaning every hour or 40 min.

these people* also dont understand money very much, they use plastic whereever they go, and dont understand the concept of loose change.

this is very frustrating, as some of us do not have a car or as much money.






* not all people are like this, just some.

things about our roommate that anoy me.

1. always leaves the seat up, and pees all over the top of the seat, so i have to touch it to put the seat down YUK.
2. leaves hair EVERYWHERE.
3. never empty's the bin.
4. never cleans the hob, surfaces, bathroom or kitchen floor.
5. steals the tiolet paper.

baby scan!!

so yesterday, i saw the baby!!!
first it looked abit like a potato, but then we could see the legs and arms waving, we could even see a lil nose!!
saw the heart beating, was about the size of a pea, omer kept looking and looking and smiling at me.

omer really is the coolest, but then again, he did say at least it was not his tummy.

the gelly wasnt so bad, was soooo nice to lie back and relax.

(i have put arrows identifing what it all is, after my mum said it looked like a tea cup and saucer)

full time job

as i am preggers, i am getting up late, and watching cartoons. i have found that thunderbirds comes on on channel 2.
but its a really creepy tv program. the strings dont bother me but everytime the puppets get something using there hands, u see human hands! and they gross and hairy. which really creepy cus they have no hair on their arms.

being pregnant is not easy. just going to the tiolet is a full time job, and i know cus i vist it every 20min.

today for breakfast i had scrambled egg with bread, and chocolate buttons.

yesterday i had a accident with my desk office chair, it hit my foot and cut it in a V shape. which really hurts. lots of blood escaped too.

for people who want to know how far i am in my pregnancy, its 3 months and one week.

right, so its a week after the wedding. and its sooooo relaxing, i feel almost too relaxed.
got the wedding video yesterday, which we watched and laughed at all the funny bits, and commented on how we looked.
the photos we have seen kinda, but we not picked the ones we like..my bounquet is dieing now and i want to wear my wedding dress every day!
i will put the photos on fickr, as soon as i get them.

last night i had a really strange dream, me, my family (including my grandparents and uncle's family) and the dysons, and me and omer were in this like holiday resort, which was half sebmerged by water cus of global warming? and we were all wearing our wedding clothes, and fighting? i had this argument with my uncles wife about my underwear?? she said it wasnt weddingey, and i said omg you never happy. and she was shouting in french. then i like run off in tears, and omer is like "2 pregnant people should not be left alone" and everyone fighting about something, and my uncles wife is chasing me and then i wake up as omer sticks his elbow in my face.

i was like right....

today omer taking me to see a movie, and i really really excited cus we not been for ages, and i hope theres tiolets nearby, and we can have popcorn and butter.

latly i have been feeling a mixture of emotions aswell as Anger. ahem..
most people are like aww congrats Hug, what u want as gift. now these are the things to stay to me.
other people are saying "thats no excuse to be ill" or "just beacuse ur pregnant dosent mean other people have to be nice" or " stop pretending you not got a bump yet" now if u say these things i will show ANGER. now beacuse one of those persons was a family member i was nice. but when a saucepan falls on his head i wont feel sorry.

otherwise wedding plans still happening. FUN. NOT. dont think i can deal with it anymore, want it to be the wedding day already!

ok so we getting married (registered) in 17 days, and the cake lady is showing me attitude cus i forgot the appointment, and being sick is not a valid excuse aperently. then i went to the hair lady and she told me i was ugly cus i was not wearing make up. comon i been sick this morning! give me a break! so i just start crying and she is like oh tut tut. i going to do something evil like give birth in her shop to show her! mwa ha ha or teach the kid to scream whenever we see her mwa ha ha..

ok curious george is the best the cutest film ever!
today i had 2 really good meals, and didn't feel sick!! so i had weetabix with fresh strawberry and blueberries with milk and double cream YUM then at lunch i had baked potato with fromage frias and chopped spring onioun, with crinkly cabbage and grated chease. YUM YUM
was the best!!

also on another note, this morning i was reminded why not to eat a entire tin of baked beans...

Mothercare

Saw a pushchair in mothercare for 400 pounds! crazy man. I could buy a really really old car with that. The have the most comftable maternity wear though, i felt like i was wearing a cloud or cotten or something nice and soft..
Had more strawberries today. Also had craving for baked beans on toast, I had 3 slices. Was beutiful, just never really appriated it before. Think I going loony.
I watched Dr Who - Doomsday, and was crying, cant belive Rose gone. :'(
Think I ganna go watch Curious George again.

Did not go to church today.

yup.. i did not go to church today. felt kinda weird. but since everyone seems to be gossiping about my good news, and i got morning sickness, i think i allowed on sunday off.
didnt, do much today, ate, went to the shops, and watched the match.. ITALY WON!! i was so surprised, thought france would.
I support argentina, so it not really matter who won, but i think what that italian guy said to Zidane was out of order.
I got my strawberries today, and that is all i ate today, feel like another box though..

so today i told my mum, i think she took it quite well.

met my urdu/cooking teacher today, and she preggers too! 6 months though, she really supportive, and think will be a good friend.
she made lamb and potato curry it was yum yum yummy and freash roti mmm :)
then went to babysit my friend, and watched mrs doubtfire, and zathura.

Its been a week!

so its been a week of listening to me ramble on..

Today it was nice, meaning not hot. but grey clouds looming over my head, which ment rain. and i went to town in a T-shirt, taking a risk yup. met my hubby up, now we were supposed to go shopping for me (late birthday gift) but instead i bought my hub a suit of great exspense, but he does look dashing in it so i guess its ok.
I did go and try on some jeans (as mine dont fit) and i couldnt find a pair that fit in the right place, does that make sense?

also today, i found out i 6 weeks preggers, and the babe due in march the 5th.

Munchies

went to the docs today, after she called me in, waited 2 hours and then found out there was a typing error made and i didnt need to be in. what a waste. after that i went to tescos and stocked up on green things and fruit. then i was just shlomped out, just needed to sleep, got on the bus and said "a pound to tescos" the driver was like "er you here already" duh i feel like a womble today.

i had bad attack of the munchies at about 2, i went for a walk and took a tupe of pringles and some fruit juice with me, half-way down the road the pringles tube was half full, or half empty. so i tried to stop but i couldn't.. at the end of the road there was 10 pringles left.

everybody seems to be in a mood, and snapping. maybe its the heat, or its cus its a thursday. and when they snap i just start crying. stupid hormouns.

Dreams

Had a really strange dream, I was in london, in my pjarmas? and heavly pregnant, and I was searching for mothercare so I could buy some sutible clothes, but all I found was marks and spencers and a dodgy kebab shop. So I pick m&s and there a shit load of steep stairs going up, like 7 floors, and no lifts? I was like omg how am I ganna do this.. and everyone was pushing me to get through and I felt like I was going to fall....and no one is helping me? so I yelling out "if I die my baby will die too and I will haunt you" and everyone is like "so what?" and I finaly get to m&s and theres these beds and i get in and fall asleep. It was the best sleep I have had in a dream while sleeping.

when i woke up i didnt even remember it was my birthday, i just saw my hubby's smiley face looking at me, and then i knew.
i really do have the best husband.

so today i spent 20 min looking at my stomach wondering if it is really there, staring so hard that im sure i saw my tummy move.....wait that was proberly me breathing.

i have the best husband in the world!

he really is the best, so supportive, understanding and always funny.

Things my mom forgot to tell me

10am:

when i was a teen, my mum repetedly had the conversation of not having kids at young age as this would ruin my life.

what she should have said is, that when you are pregnant you get killing stomach cramps that wake you in the night, you feel sick, needing to pee every 5 min, lightheaded, dizzy and constipated.
and there is nothing you can do about it! no painkillers allowed!!

there is one small bonus. free dental care.

had a talk with my hub, feel bit better. tommoro is my birthday, but it not feel like it. feels like i have aged alot in these past few days.

always need to pee!

last night i woke up at 1am (after nodding off at 10) and i needed to pee so bad, and guess what someone was in the tiolet. and taking time! then i couldnt sleep as i was panicing of future pains and birth. so i put tv on, but nothing on. then went on net and talking to my friend for an hour before i nod off again.

this morning i have peed 4 times since waking up at 8 to watch cartoons and pee. its very frustrating. also i have the need for dandilion and burdock soda and roast beef and bannanas. also i cant stand the smell of mint toothpaste or the cleaning fluid for the loo. makes me feel nausas. (sick) (wanting to be sick) i feel weak constantly sleepy and almost like i have flu.

Just Found Out

ok, so i just found out on thursday, took a pregnancy test cus i was feeling offish and was bored. and BAM! it cam out positive. i was like AHH! and :'( and i text my hubby, and he not reply so i was thinking OMG he has run away...so was even more tearful. he came back tho and was like "why u over reacting, just calm down", and i was like "ergh u poo".

the next day i made an appiontment at the docs, and told her everything.. she was asking if i planned it? duh i 19 why would i plan it, i not even rich and famous yet.

then she was like which birthing method do i want, and i was like AHH i have to give birth.. omg so freaky..i cant do it..i cant

so i made an appiontment with the midwife and i got a small booklet on "family planning 2002"

the duck that drinks

came accross the drinking duck, a vintage toy, my grandad bought me one once, you put it next to a glass of water, and it starts drinking it!

how does he work ? - here's the science bit...the cold water in the glass from which he drinks..is colder than the room atmosphere...this causes the chemical inside (methylene chloride) to expand and rise up the glass tube to his head. His head becomes top heavy and makes the head fall forward into the cold water. Immediately the chemical contracts and falls to the bottom of the tube - he rocks and rocks and rocks and the process starts all over again.

so much planning no time to be scared

so much wedding planning is going on... i guess i never really thought about what has to be done. dresses, suits, food, cake, car, honeymoon, music, order of service, photographers, etc... list goes on and on

my birthday is in : 10 days and 9 hours and 10mins.

i think everyone will forget my birthday cus of the wedding, so maybe this means i can be 19 for another year.

today me omer took a walk, and we got lost on the moors in kersal. so we asked for dirictions from this lady, and this guy walked up and asked if we wanted to get in his car! he was saying it no problem for him and etc.. (omg he wanted to chop us up into tiny bits!) i was draggin omer away and sayin no we had a car nearby and walking briskly far away from him.

he proberly had chopped up boddies in his living room!





i think we need to stop watching horror movies...

gross disguting nail

was so gross, today when i got on the bus i noticed a HUGE toenail clipping!! lieing on the bus floor. which means 1. there was someone cutting their toenails on the bus. 2 someone cut them and left it on their clothing and it fell off.or 3 the bus drivier was biteing them off before he had his shift.

butterfly curry

yesterday it was HOT.
i was feeling floped out, omer on the other hand was walking brisky along like nothing could stop him.
then i saw a butterfly, it was small and red with black, and it flutterd around us, and omer saw it and then he caught it. he wanted to give it to me, but it wasnt moving.. i thought it was dead. we felt like shit. like we was mass murderurs.
omer put it in the bag with my insoles, he say maybe it be ok. we went to doctors, and in the sitting room i held it out, and blew on it.. it twitched, and wiggled its legs, and flew, and fluttered away.

the amazing bank robbery

I had a really cool dream the other night, i dreamed i was robbing a bank! not any bank, but my bank! this is how it went...

there was me and 3 other girls, and yoey, and we was black pvc suits and had cool gadgets cliped on.. so we go to the bank, at the dead of night, and the front doors are open (dunno why, seemed normal) then we got to this glass wall, where we could see a office/ desks on other side, and i am like "now what?" and this girl grace (from big brother) is like "there must be a code pannel here.." and she touches the wall and the code input thing is there, and she puts in the password, and its TIBBLES (my sister's teddy name), and grace is like "i knew it" then we in the office and we fiddling arround with papers, when the carpet moves aside and theres a ladder, so we go down, and its pitch black and in front ofus is star trek voyagers warp core. so im thinkin **how does this fit underneath the floor?** then we find this lift, and we work out that in order to open the vault one of us needs to be on different floors, and press a button at the sAme time, so me and yoey take the UP lift, and grace and zul stay there.

the lift is weird, glass doors, no strings, rainbow colored buttons, and the numbers on the pannel went from -17 to 0 to 17 so we press -17 and wooooosh! we flying up, and we going so fast that we just floatingin the middle, which was FUN. so then we at the floor, and its all posh flat style (doors with A4, and fancy lights in the hallway) and ilike (?) then my mum rings on my mobile, and she starts asking if i want something from marks and spencers or sainsburys, im like just wait in the car, then we can go cornwall, and she is like "yay".

so we find a door with a pannel, and put TIBBLES in and it opens, and thers a desk and a big red button, the red button is in a non breakable box, andhas a opening that only a child could get her hand in to.. so yoey presses it, and zul is like on the walki talki "we in!" then the bank manager stumbles out of the shower, and tries to bribe us to not steal his money with a plastic watch and a digital camra. we say no, he gets back in to bed, and wooooosh! we in the lift again, then we heap all the money in a cartoon yellow car, (no bags) and drive to marks and spencers..

really nice day

it was a warm sunny afternoon and i was walking fast, going home.. but i stopped. i dont know why, maybe it was the clinking noise behind me or the small bird that flew down next to me. but i stopped and looked at the bird, and out of the corner of my eye i could see him....i saw my grandpa, he was standing on the pavement with his walking stick, like i seen him many times when i was younger, he was smiling at me.. and i blinked, and he was gone.

maybe i was dreaming, day dreaming most proberly.
but whatever it was, it was nice, and as i walked home, i had the feeling that he was there with me.

starburst

ok heres what you do. you take 4 flavours of starburst fruit chews. you unwrap them and warm them in your hands, seperatly though. then when they are warm and squshable, squish them together, into a ball. and pop it in your mouth, a multi flavour multi color starburst fruit chew. yum

longing paintfilled dreams

had a dream last night. i was in a white room, rather plain, wood floor, high walls, and theres this piano in the corner, a grand. and i standing there thinking Ok. theres no doors aswell but it not seem to worry me, and then the piano starts to play by its self, and i start painting the walls (i dunno where the paint came from) and as i painting the music is getting louder and faster and i just painting with the music, and it seemed that the walls got biger to accomadete my need to paint. soon the walls were filled with scenes and splodges and words , theres even paint on the celing, but the floor is clean. theres people i have painted, but i dont know them, but i can see emotions in the bold dark faces. i just sit on the floor looking at them..

yesterday me n omer went to Bradford. and it rained and rained, so much that my trainers felt like the sea and my feet a whale in it. this mornin my feet were red and sore and hurting. i hope it gets better soon. i feel like having chocolate s i ganna go and hunt for some.

i happy today :)
people ask why? but why do they ask? is it normal to be sad? why? i have alot of questions, more than a normal person think.
i love my mum even tho she drives me up the wall sometimes
i feel on edge and my typing is fast i dont know why. but to stop myself from endless doodles or hopping around the room i have decided to cook. like a cooking spree. my typing very fast now. i gannna make pasta and fried mushrooms. wait let me put them on.
ok so i have made fried mushrooms with pasta.
for ppl that want the recipe here it is:
1 onuion
1 box of mushrooms
half a tin of chopped tomatos
salt
pepper
pasta
garlic
ginger

ok put the pasta on. not full heat. chop up onuion, mushrooms, garlic and ginger. fry the onioun first till slighty burnt, then add mushrooms, fry till brown. then garlic and ginger. leave till it browns too. u can put all in, leave on low heat, and put the tv on for abit. then add tomatos, and stir. add herbs if u want and salt and pepper.

things are so crazy. why do they say people have threads? where are they? where is mine? if i have one it is knoted with omer. when i with him i forget everything, no worries.
my mum is moving. away. so far. why?
my dad reply to my letter! its fantastic, its amazing. i thought he wouldn't, that he wudnt care. but he did, he does, i feel like triwling around and around till i dizzy and fall. and the wind catches me and i soar.
omer is at work..he doing evening this week. its poo. i miss him more.
still no internet at home, no way to express myself. so i starting to write short stories and finishing my next bag.
i want to learn piano again. but i have no piano. i can hear the notes in my head tho, sometimes at night. just notes. in day dreams.
bird flu is in uk. near edinbrough, soon near us maybe. wonder if the news is lieing by saying us to be calm. should i stop eating chicken? but it is too delisious..

torn up memories

been going thru all my old clothes, and my siblings old baby clothes, cutting some up for material scraps but mainly getting rid of. so many memories in these clothes. feels almost sinful to take the knife to it. mum is moving soon. cornwall. part of me wishes to go with, be part of the family again. but it cant be that way, not cus i dont want. cus she hates me for getting married.
seems odd that i grew up with one way of thinking, that i thought was mine but it was just a copy from my parents.
and yet, they want you to be independant and leave but they still think you are the baby they had 20 years ago.
it wud be cool if transporters were real. i cud press a button and see my grandma. or go back and feel my grandpa's old soft wrinkly hands..his smile..his reasuring calmness about the future..maybe cus he had lived 100 years.
omer wishes to see his family..why are families split up? why wait for the ringing saying someone u love has died.

ime, coconut, ginger

yesterday i made lime, coconut and ginger cake. it was good and i made it without a recipe! just from my head, amazin.
heres the recipe if u want to ever try it:



For the cake:


2-3 Tesco sponge mixes
150ml of water
2 eggs
2-3 teaspoons of ground ginger
packet of desicated coconut


For the icing:

1 lime
packet of icing suger
vinnila esscence
butter or other


ok, first get a mixing bowl. then put in the sponge mixes, eggs (without shell) and 150ml of water, mix it together, using beaters or a spoon.
Then add some coconut, how much you use is up to you, it depends on how coconuty you want it. i used like 4 tablespoons.
put in the ginger, how much again is up to you.
beat it again, make sure the mixture is not to runny or thick, when you move the spoon and make ripples in the mixture, the ripples should move slowly back in.
now grease the pan, either use a big flat rectangle dish like 25cm x 38cm or a round cake pan. the cake will rise to about 8-10cm. grease the pan with butter, thickly, as oil is not thick enough.

put it on on 5, and leave it there for 30-40 mins.

after the cake is golden brown take it out and leave to cool.

for the icing : wash up the mixing bowl and dry it, put in a few big heaped spoons of butter, and shake in some icing suger enough that wud go over the cake, mix together slowly till it forms a paste, squezze the lime and put the juice in, add the vanilia essence, stir it till its the right consistancy, and put it on the cake.

now wait till the icing hard and eat it!

temperature

me and omer are sick with a cold or something with likeness. so we both sniffing and lyin floped out on the bed for long periods. i keep havin weird dreams but wen i wake up i cant remember, or i wake up and i can smell keer, but there is none. :(
and my mum kept popin in my head a memory of when i was about 5, she was singing to me, the butterfly song, and it was nice.

we are born in water yet live mostly dry

had a shower! ha ha now the flowers around me will stop dieing.

in my house we have 3 adults and one hot tankful of water after every hourish. and one tankful is equal to 2 showers or one bath and a small shower. which means since i the laziest of the three i get in last. which means ushuly the water is warm going cold, and every few seconds i have to turn the cold tap slightly off, till in the end theres no more back and the water goes ice cold.

the other day tho i was the second person in and it was great, until my brother pressed the flush. then he had the nerve to come up to the bath room door and say loudly "HA HA".

i dont like showers or water that much, they allways make you feel cold and soggy and kinda drowned cat.

today, i wore a scarf.

like muslims wear, i was trying it out, wearing a scarf, beacuse i am married, and from jewish background i feel need to cover my hair when i out. so i do the scarf, it was a nice colorful one not a black one, and lo n behold its so easy to wear. but i go downstairs and my mum freaks out.

i remember watching a program once called "how to wear a scarf" it was on channel four, and it had this very plain woman with a bright scarf. her first line was "i cant remember how many times, women came up to me and ask me how to tie a scarf" i was watching this thinkin, wear she from?? then she went on to say that, a scarf changes your life and makes you more attractive. then she showed us how to wear the scarf in 100 different ways. each with attrative names, like hangman or the knot necklace.

ok today has been a weird day, i dunno much about valentines, or the history but i no that in this age its about spending money instead of love which is poo.

this tiger is for my mum (cus she likes tigers) and cus it is cute.

i am still struggling to write a letter to my new found dad, i think it would be easier if he just read this blog.

i saw 2 turtle doves outside on a branch in our garden, this morning, my first thought was "what a strange pigion"

it also was snowing, and its febuary, so odd, but it not snow for long, it would have been nice to make snowmen with omer.

yesterday i was reminded how my brother is not always a pain in the neck.
it happened when we was cleanin our room, my sis was pretending to sleep, and omer said "oh look she is sleeping" (to tease her) and i think my brother misheard, cus he said in a very sad voice "yes, alot of people are sleeping..but some of them don't wake up"

yesterday my little sis asked me "how do you know if you have cancer?"
i responded "well, you die"

then she wanted to know if i could make her chocolate pudding, so i made it and some dark chocolate coated coco pops.
