the mouse with a cold

Poor baby hamza has a cold, and so at night I can hear snuffling, and various cold hands and feet on me!
I think waiting for my mini chopper might just kill me, I decided I can't wait till x-mas, so I'eve orderd it, now I'm just waiting...and waiting..
-> New toy on top of the list now, is the new elmo live toy/robot by fisherprice.
Which I think we would all enjoy and let hamza play with it too! Hamza has already seen the toy in action, which brought him out in giggles and lots of chuckles.
-> The other toy is a remote control convertible by the ELC it says 2-5 years on the box, but Omer was already making ramps, and tunnels and having lots of fun with it.

I think Xmas is about toys, and gadgets that don't last long. as toys do keep us young, plus it is more fun with all the family!

first time in a long time

hey all,
it is quiet in the flat, which is a first. quiet enough for me to sit and actually think, by myself. alone.
wonderful.
alot has happened since i last wrote, we have moved flats, changed to Wakefield (near Leeds city), got ill and better again. hamza had his first haircut, which was a mission!
its funny, now i am alone i am not sure of what to write, i guess it is because i am not used to writing a blog in awhile.
i notice my mum has put alot of wicked grins on her blog since she has been ill though!
I think this year, this Christmas/chunukah/eid will be more family orientated, now we are all stuck with no money. I am glad that we wont be all gift grabbing and uncontrollable silly spenders.
I am not sure my sis will be so easy though, she started our last conversation with ''remember how you always bought me the biggest gift at x-mas''
eek
i know my mum, she will be groaning at the thought or my siblings mildest hints. she will prob say loudly ''look at the time, time for you to go and something, or me to disappear''
anyways
I'm ganna go wash up those endless milk bottles. see you all laters.

nearly suffocated by a dolphin

I woke up this morning to find Hamza sleeping in my neck, not his whole body of course but his heavy head. I tried pushing him off but he didn't move.. This explains the strange dream of a bunch of dolphins atacking me and trying to suffocate me.

Now he sleeping again, he's finished his breakfast, watched most of the cartoons and played Boo for half an hour. Its wonderful, now I can eat..listen to some classical music before doing the lundry and cleaning the place up.

new year 08

its the new year YAY! (theres thats all my enthusasim gone.)
i have decided that i will now post recipies that are more healthy and low or lowish in fat.
i also want to wave and say HI to Liegh (lee) and say come over mate, and HI to my dad if he even vists this site anymore.
i have thought about putting all my recipies on a different blog, but i think i would get bored copying and pasting, plus it keeps people interested here.

Hamza is now nearly a year old. so i have survived being a mom for this long, i have done what my mum thought impossible.. or still thinks..hmmm

Tis the season to be jolly, or so thay say...

another world, another planet

had another strange dream last night, it was so strange that as soon as i awoke i felt as though a part of me remained there. Its true what they say, as you get older, its harder to recall your dreams.

I seemed to be on another planet, in the dream. The sky was a bright blue and full of kites flying in the wind. The grass a bright green, soaked with a morning dew, it was like earth.. but different. The ground beneath me, was moving. Not like a shaking, but like a tread machine. This planet was round, you could see the roundness, the stars below us. Houses on this planet seemed to float above the ground, but when you walked up to the door, you were walking on nothing. The people on this planet all wore stripey helmets. Even the poor who dressed in rags, had helmets. I don't think i did anything specific in this dream, i just explored my surroundings. i remember going in to a house, and looking down off a balcony, and the grass was moving, beyond the grass was a huge drop. At the bottom you could just see stars.
I also went on a picnic, where every 10 Min's we had to pack up and move up the hill, otherwise we could fall off. And i realised the kites, was actually people. I had a go, you seemed to be strapped in to nothing, as the lines and seat were there, but also not there. the ride flung me in to the sky and around, and around. Like I was flying.

little girl

A Good Wedding Cake

4lb of love
1lb butter of youth
1/2lb of good looks
1lb sweet temper
1lb of blindness of faults
1lb of self forgetfulness
1lb of pounded wit
1lb of good humour
2 tablespoons of sweet argument
1pint of rippling laughter
1 wine glass of common sense
1oz of modesty

Put the love, good looks and sweet temper into a well furnished house. Beat the butter of youth in to cream, and mix well together with the blindness of faults. Stir the pounded wit and good humour into the sweet argument, then add the rippling laughter and comman sense. Work the whole together until everything is well mixed, and bake gently for ever.

Heaven

I had a dream the other night, that was so beutaful, and left me feeling so calm, i thought i should write it down before i forget.

In my dream,
I saw a man at the foot of my bed, it was dark in the room, still night. He was tall tallest man I have ever seen maybe 9ft or higher. He was wearing silver clothes and had long hair, I don't think he had a face, I can't remember. I just remember his hair and broad shoulders. He was just all silver, and in a angle, sort of breezy.
I was in bed, he said ''Come with me, I want to show you something''
I didn't say anything, but agreed and got out of bed, tucking the blanket around hamza, and followed the silver..man.
We came to a place of such intensity, I can't describe it, it was so beutiful, so bright and calm. I felt so peaceful.
There were these floating balls, of different colors, some colors I have never seen before, they were moving around, some faster, some just gliding, and everytime they colided, gently. They made the most beutiful sound, so the whole room was filled with this beutiful sounds, not music, but like a choir.
The man then spoke, he said to me ''These are souls.''
He spoke then, about time, future, and forgiveness. He said time is not a straight line, that it is bent, twisted and even broken. He told me that we don't have much time, we meaning people. and we must hurry to finish everything before its too late.
He also said you must forgive all the ones who have hurt you, and as he said this I felt something poke me. I knew then there was something I had to do.
After a long time of talking, he take me back to my room, where Hamza was sleeping. He said that he would see me again and then I woke up.
I woke up with a name in my mind, someone who had hurt me, and I sent a email saying, I forgive you.
